Elaine has been training canine companion animals professionally in the Los Angeles area for over 16 years. She is certified in dog training as well as narcotics detection and explosives detection. Spawn is a multi-certified working explosives detection dog. Spawn regularly does searches for schools, movie studios, cruise ships, special events and even the “Governator” on election night! Rakasha-Bride of Spawn has recently starting sniffing too!

Elaine is a member of the APDT, NAPD, K9 Pro Sports, Gold Coast Working Dogs Club, NARA, and the Southern California Dog Trainer's Forum. She is also an endorsed member of NADOI.

She is a CPDT (Certified Pet Dog Trainer) through APDT -- one of 441 (at that time) in the US and Canada. She believes she did well on the test because there was no math!

Elaine attends several seminars a year to stay current with her training, and also participates daily in several e-mail discussion lists regarding aggression and canine behavior.

For fun, Elaine does personal protection sports: PSA, French Ring, NAPD and K9 Pro Sports and working dog trials where she competes in both protection and detection.

Companion animal training is her primary focus. She works with all breeds of dogs, dogs with behavior problems, and aggressive dogs. Her training philosophy includes positive methods to effectively obtain reliable results with well-behaved dogs and happy owners.

Our staff offers private instruction, both in-home and at our training facilities, ,behavior modification, Basic Manners, Canine Good Citizen and much more! The instruction is fun and original, designed specifically for what you'd like to do with your dog. Being Los Angeles, we spend a lot of time showing dogs and their owners, “Starbucks etiquette”.

Not a bad way to spend your days!
